Fire Retardant Clothing

This range of products are manufactured under Australian Standard AS4824, Licence number 20360 (Wildland Firefighting) by Remlap. The products contain the chemical Proban that provides the Flame-Retardant properties for natural fibres. The polymer is inert, completely insoluble and is not removed by washing. Embedded in the body of the fibre it can only be removed by mechanical abrasion. |

The Fire Retardent products such as Jacket & Trousers are made under Australian Standards AS4824 Licence Number 20360, used by the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS). Pictured right are the Palmer CFS Unit in South Australia wearing the Remlap products. |
